Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Liftori collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language. If something is unclear, write to ryan@liftori.ai and we will answer.
1. Who we are
Liftori ("Liftori", "we", "us") is a software company based in Jacksonville, Florida. We build and operate business software, websites and related services for companies, and we run the website at liftori.ai.
2. Two different roles
When you visit our website or contact us, Liftori decides how your information is used. This policy covers that.
When a business uses software Liftori runs for it (for example a CRM, a field app, or a customer portal), that business decides what information goes in and how it is used. Liftori processes that information only on the business's instructions, as described in our Data Processing Addendum. If you are a customer or employee of one of those businesses, their privacy notice applies to you, and you can contact them about your information. We will help them respond.
3. What we collect
| Source | Information |
|---|---|
| Forms and booking | Name, email, phone, company, and what you tell us about your project, when you request an estimate, book a call or contact us. |
| Accounts | Name, work email, role and sign-in details for people who use Liftori software. |
| Communications | Emails, messages and call notes when you correspond with us. |
| Payments | Billing contact and payment status. Card numbers are collected and held by our payment processor, Stripe, not by Liftori. |
| Technical | Basic request and error logs kept by our hosting providers (such as IP address, browser type and time), used to keep the service running and secure. |
Cookies and tracking. Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. It stores a referral code in your browser when you arrive from a partner link, so the partner can be credited. Signed-in software uses the browser storage it needs to keep you signed in.
4. How we use it
- To respond to you, prepare estimates and provide the services you ask for.
- To run, secure, support and improve our software.
- To send service messages, such as confirmations, alerts and account notices.
- To bill for services and keep business records.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights and our customers.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run Liftori, under contracts that limit their use of it, and when the law requires. Our main providers are:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase (on Amazon Web Services) | Database, sign-in, file storage and server functions |
| Vercel | Website and application hosting |
| Resend | Sending email |
| Stripe | Payments |
| LiveKit | Video calls inside our software |
| Maps and our business email and calendar | |
| Anthropic | AI features we offer, through a commercial API that does not use inputs to train models |
| Intuit QuickBooks | Accounting sync, only when a customer connects it |
If Liftori is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
6. Where it is stored
Information is stored in the United States. Each business customer's software data is kept in its own database.
7. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries that do not become customers are deleted on request. Customer software data is kept for the life of the customer's account and returned and deleted at the end of the relationship, as set out in the Data Processing Addendum. Backups roll off on a short schedule.
8. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access rules enforced inside the database, and the practices described on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify the affected customer or you as the law requires.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you marketing email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and you will not be treated differently for using them. Write to ryan@liftori.ai. We may need to confirm your identity first. If your information is held in software we run for a business, we will refer your request to that business and help it respond.
10. Children
Liftori's services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will tell business customers directly.
